Independent Directors appointed to Gentrack Board

Gentrack, a global provider of software solutions for airports, energy utilities and water companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Graham Shaw and Andy Coupe as Independent Non-Executive Directors.

Gentrack chairman John Clifford says the new directors add a wealth of commercial experience to strengthen the existing board as Gentrack’s success brings bigger projects and opportunities for geographic expansion.

Andy Coupe has extensive commercial and capital markets experience and is a former investment banking consultant at UBS New Zealand. Andy is Deputy Chairman of the New Zealand Takeovers Panel, Chairman of Farmright, a director of NZX listed investment funds Kingfish, Barramundi and Marlin Global, and a director of state owned coal miner Solid Energy. Andy is also a member of the Institute of Directors and the Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand.

Graham Shaw is a chartered accountant working in an advisory role with Boards and senior management to assist them to enhance their performance. He is a director of NZX and ASX listed Xero. Graham is a former Chief Executive of Works Infrastructure and led its expansion into Australia. He has also been CEO of Kensington Swan, one of New Zealand’s national law firms, and was a business adviser with accountants KPMG. He remains a representative of Downer New Zealand (formerly Works Infrastructure) and is Chair of the Chartered Professional Engineers Council.

Graham is a Member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Directors in New Zealand, a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Management and a Companion of the Institution of Professional Engineers of New Zealand.
