Gary joined Gentrack in October 2020 following an extensive international career in enterprise technology innovation and cloud capabilities, including serving on the leadership team of Amdocs (NASDAQ:DOX), a provider of cloud business software and services to the communications industry. In Amdocs he served as Chief Marketing Officer and prior to this role, was Division President and CTO, leading strategy development, building the product portfolio and sales organisation as well as overseeing Amdocs’ digital services, big data and mobile engagement divisions.
He has also founded and successfully scaled several technology companies including jNetX, a next-generation intelligent network platform for communication service providers, prior to its acquisition by Amdocs in 2009.
Gary is based in London.
James was appointed Interim CFO in April, joining the business following a successful career spanning 18 years of corporate finance leadership in utilities and 10 years in JV business development and audit. He has held executive roles as CFO of Centrica owned Direct Energy in North America, CFO of EnergyAustralia, one of Australia’s largest energy utilities, and more recently CFO of ERM Power in Brisbane, Australia’s largest business-only energy retailer.
Spence also has extensive transformation experience, leading ERM Power’s strategy for investor relations, risk management, performance management and control frameworks before the company was acquired by the Shell group in 2019.
Zeev Berkowitz joined Gentrack as COO in November 2020. Zeev has an extensive background in service delivery and technology leadership having led Global Delivery, Integration Services division and Managed Services activities at Amdocs over the last 10 years. He has managed the DevOps implementation across the entire Amdocs organisation and been responsible for the successful execution of some of the world’s largest transformation and modernisation projects. He also led the Services Innovation Centre at Amdocs with a focus on cloud and digital services, and before joining Amdocs, worked for nine years as Head of the Services Division at Taldor, one of Israel’s largest IT service integrators.
Zeev brings expertise in cloud-tech deployment, services innovation, business transformation and building innovative growth strategies that will greatly assist us on our journey. We have a vision to be the best global provider of cloud-solutions for utilities and airports, and Zeev will provide significant leadership from his Auckland base to help drive great outcomes from our global teams and for our customers.
Zeev is based in the Auckland office, and is familiar with Aotearoa, having completed his PhD in Information Systems and Operations Management at the University of Auckland.
Loukas Tzitzis joined Gentrack as CTO in January 2021. Loukas joins us following a career spanning 20 years in Telco & IT, holding leadership positions in general management, product & technology, marketing, delivery & operations. His most recent role was with Amdocs, a 4 Billion USD software and services company serving more than 350 clients in 85 countries.
Prior to Amdocs, Loukas was the Chief Products and Marketing officer of Nexign, and during his time in Nexign, the company launched its new 3-year strategy, modernised and launched its new cloud-based core portfolio, launched an IoT platform and a global “first in industry” Blockchain-based solution, resulting in industry recognition from leading analysts (Gartner, OVUM, IDC, Analysys Mason, Frost & Sullivan)
Allan is Gentrack’s Country Manager for New Zealand and Asia, taking up the role in 2020 following 22 years in operations leadership and transformation roles at Gentrack. This experience provides Allan with unique insights to the Gentrack business, our people and technology, to ensure that we continue to grow in the our home market and deliver value to customers. As an ICAgile Certified Professional, Allan plays a strong leadership role in Gentrack’s continued focus on agile ways of working across the customer-facing business in New Zealand and Singapore.
Mark joined Gentrack in April 2019 and leads our Australian business as Country Manager. From his early career in programming, Mark has worked with software and utilities for 25 years, helping energy and utility customers solve problems with technology. Before joining Gentrack, Mark was part of GE’s grid software business for 15 years, most recently leading the Asia sales team responsible for sales and business development across the region. Prior to that, Mark headed up GE’s Grid partner business in the region, working with a portfolio of 100 resellers and partners.
Paul has worked in and around the utilities industry for over 30 years. His foundation years were in technical, product, programme and service management, before moving into consultancy, business development, sales and account management. Over the last ten years, Paul has transformed and led businesses for CMG and Logica (CGI), HP and DXC.
James brings a strong track record of leading and implementing organisational strategies to scale and delivering excellent customer outcomes within the aviation sector. At Leidos, James was Managing Director of the international aviation division, forging a strong relationship with airport operators and Air Navigation Service providers. Prior to Leidos, James spent over a decade in the defence and aerospace technology sector, occupying senior leadership roles with Leonardo (formerly Finmeccanica).
With a background in strategic HR Management as well as health and safety, Melina joined Gentrack in July 2016 and is responsible for overseeing the company’s HR function globally.
Melina has worked in New Zealand, Australia and the UK across several industries, including manufacturing, logistics, tertiary education, not for profit and call centres. Prior to joining Gentrack, she successfully transitioned into an operations role responsible for running a large logistics centre based at Heathrow Airport.
Since joining Gentrack in 2013, Jon has been responsible for overseeing all commercial and legal aspects of the business.
A qualified Chartered Accountant with over ten years’ experience in finance and executive management in technology companies, Jon provides strong commercial leadership, which is essential to Gentrack’s ability to secure and deliver projects across multiple regions and jurisdictions. Jon is actively involved in overseeing contract negotiations and any legal matters surrounding customer, supplier and partner engagement worldwide. Jon has a Bachelor’s degree in Science with Honours.
Richard is CISO for European Utilities. He is responsible for managing the current infrastructure while designing and implementing new infrastructure.
Robert is an experienced IT Executive, Project Director, Project Manager, Information Security and Risk Management Consultant who has worked predominately in the Telecommunications, Electricity, Gas and Water sectors. He has over 20 years’ experience in the successful delivery of large infrastructure and software implementation projects.
