Gary joined Gentrack in October 2020 following an extensive international career in enterprise technology innovation and cloud capabilities, including serving on the leadership team of Amdocs (NASDAQ:DOX), a provider of cloud business software and services to the communications industry. At Amdocs he served as Chief Marketing Officer and prior to this role, was Division President and CTO, leading strategy development, building the product portfolio and sales organisation as well as overseeing Amdocs’ digital services, big data and mobile engagement divisions.
He has also founded and successfully scaled several technology companies including jNetX, a next-generation intelligent network platform for communication service providers, prior to its acquisition by Amdocs in 2009.
Gary is based in London.
Zeev Berkowitz joined Gentrack as COO in November 2020. Zeev has an extensive background in service delivery and technology leadership having led Global Delivery, Integration Services division and Managed Services activities at Amdocs over the last 10 years. He has managed the DevOps implementation across the entire Amdocs organisation and been responsible for the successful execution of some of the world’s largest transformation and modernisation projects. He also led the Services Innovation Centre at Amdocs with a focus on cloud and digital services, and before joining Amdocs, worked for nine years as Head of the Services Division at Taldor, one of Israel’s largest IT service integrators.
Zeev brings expertise in cloud-tech deployment, services innovation, business transformation and building innovative growth strategies that will greatly assist us on our journey. We have a vision to be the best global provider of cloud-solutions for utilities and airports, and Zeev will provide significant leadership from his Auckland base to help drive great outcomes from our global teams and for our customers.
Zeev is based in the Auckland office, and is familiar with Aotearoa, having completed his PhD in Information Systems and Operations Management at the University of Auckland.
Frances (Fran) joined Gentrack in August 2021 as CPO. She has more than 20 years’ experience of leading global People functions, with specialist skills and expertise in Engagement, Wellbeing, Executive Coaching and strategic transformation and change.
Prior to Gentrack, Fran was as an HR Leader within global multinationals including Barclaycard, FTSE 100 companies in the energy and sustainable product industries, and the energy and resources sector across APAC. She has also held many specialist roles in reward and mobility and led the employee engagement change programmes for KPMG global member firms.
Fran is based in London, leading a global team focused on enabling and accelerating our people focused culture.
Barry joined Gentrack in 2021 and is responsible for technology and product development. His experience encompasses over 30 years of bringing to market products and services across sectors as diverse as banking and finance, utilities, telecoms, healthcare and the military. His track record in delivering value for customers, partners investors and staff is second to none, and his experience spans building effective partnerships with Hi-Tech powerhouses working across the entire ecosystem – including Amazon, Apple, Google, Spotify, ORACLE, IBM, Microsoft, Ericsson, Sharp, Philips, Foxconn, Intel, ADI, AT&T, Samsung and Motorola. Barry has also built and sold several successful businesses – collectively valued at over £900m.
Prior to joining Gentrack Barry worked as the CTO & SVP SW Engineering & Operations at Aurea Software delivering a portfolio of 20+ complex product-led Enterprise solutions for companies across 4 continents, such as British Airways, Allianz, Disney and other Fortune 500 companies.
John joined Gentrack as CFO in February 2022. John’s career started as a Chartered Accountant, working with multinational professional services firm, PwC, as an auditor in practice. After leaving the audit profession, John joined Xchanging PLC, a FTSE listed Software & BPO outsourcing Company, where he progressed his career through from Divisional CFO for Xchanging’s Insurance business and as Divisional CFO for its Technology & Software business through to the Group’s Commercial Director. Following the acquisition of Xchanging by CSC Inc. (now DXC), John left to become Group CFO of Validis, a Fintech providing software solutions to Auditors and Commercial Lenders globally.
Prior to joining Gentrack, John was Group CFO of Momenta Group, leading their finance and commercial operations across UK, Australia, US, India, Hong Kong and Germany.
Donna joined Gentrack in March 2022 and is acting as Interim CMO. Donna has extensive marketing leadership experience having spent the last 15 years in global leadership roles both in customer marketing and corporate communications. Her most recent permanent role was Vice President of Corporate Communications & Brand at Amdocs. Prior to joining Gentrack, she had an interim role as Director of Communications & External Affairs at Stonewall, Europe’s largest LGBTQ+ charity.
James brings a strong track record of leading and implementing organisational strategies to scale and delivering excellent customer outcomes within the aviation sector. At Leidos, James was Managing Director of the international aviation division, forging a strong relationship with airport operators and Air Navigation Service providers. Prior to Leidos, James spent over a decade in the defence and aerospace technology sector, occupying senior leadership roles with Leonardo (formerly Finmeccanica).
Geoff is the General Manager for Gentrack in the UK and Ireland. He has over 15 years’ experience of working in and with the UK energy market.
Building on a background of call centre and operational management, Geoff has held board-level positions in energy suppliers, along with the largest Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs) serving the B2B energy market.
Geoff spent 6 years at British Gas at a senior level and then went on to become the Managing Director of Extra Energy, responsible for its start-up and market entry, and recognised as the fastest-growing energy supplier in both the domestic and SME market to date.
Geoff has also spent time as a consultant in the energy sector, advising large and small energy suppliers and TPIs, to bring his wealth of experience to help the growth and success of different businesses in the UK. Geoff is based in London.
Mark joined Gentrack in April 2019 and leads our Australian business as Country Manager. From his early career in programming, Mark has worked with software and utilities for 25 years, helping energy and utility customers solve problems with technology. Before joining Gentrack, Mark was part of GE’s grid software business for 15 years, most recently leading the Asia sales team responsible for sales and business development across the region. Prior to that, Mark headed up GE’s Grid partner business in the region, working with a portfolio of 100 resellers and partners.
Allan is Gentrack’s Country Manager for New Zealand and Asia, taking up the role in 2020 following 22 years in operations leadership and transformation roles at Gentrack. This experience provides Allan with unique insights to the Gentrack business, our people and technology, to ensure that we continue to grow in our home market and deliver value to customers. As an ICAgile Certified Professional, Allan plays a strong leadership role in Gentrack’s continued focus on agile ways of working across the customer-facing business in New Zealand and Singapore.
Harsh is Vice President, Head of Gentrack India and based in Pune. He is an industry leader with over 25 years’ experience in enterprise-wide application development, infrastructure management & quality engineering within the telecoms domain and has led global teams of 350+ people. He has successfully led complex transformation projects for Tier-1 and Tier-2 customers across the globe, creating & managing centres of excellence for these businesses. Harsh is a DevOps and Cloud evangelist, has presented papers in several conferences, is a member of various boards and an avid marathon runner.
